Emma White is the Founder and President of the Life Is Worth It Organization, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides workshops, education, and curriculum for youth and their communities to help prevent suicide. Emma is the Author of It’s Not OK, but It Will Be, an Educator, Mental Health Advocate and Suicide Survivor. She was selected as the winner of the Jersey Mike’s Sub Abover 2021 Award and was one of the 2022 Winners of the Reno Tahoe Young Professional’s Network 20 Under 40 Award. Emma’s Ted x Talk is titled “Why We Need a National Health Curriculum to Prevent Suicide in Schools.” She is also the Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention, where she specializes in youth suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention strategies on a federal and state level. a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno,  Emma is an accomplished speaker and advocate whose passionate voice and lived experience has gained national acclaim.
