Raised in Henderson, Nevada, Ava moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, where she studied Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Management. She spent a semester in Valencia, Spain, before returning to Northern Nevada to complete her degree. After graduating, she chose to stay in Reno, drawn to its sense of community and ongoing growth. She now serves as the Marketing and Communications Specialist at the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), supporting initiatives that strengthen and sustain the region’s economy. With previous internships at The Abbi Agency, Esri, and EDAWN, she brings a strong foundation in storytelling, outreach, and investor relations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, getting outdoors in Reno and Tahoe, and trying new restaurants around town.
