Elevating the standard for female young professionals, Ashley D. Turney is an accomplished businesswomen and entrepreneur.  Since becoming the youngest City Clerk in Reno history, she has spearheaded multiple landmark initiatives, including revamping a 30-year old parking permit program and implementing a centralized records system providing transparent access to over 16 million public records.  Ms. Turney earned the Accela Trendsetter Award for progressing civic engagement through the aid of technology.  In 2017, she launched Perfectly Polished, a sales and consulting small business.  Ms. Turney conferred a BS in Marketing and MBA from UNR.

In addition to facilitating training for City of Reno staff and successfully managing municipal elections, Ms. Turney grooms future leaders through mentoring and coaching.  She also is an active member of YPN, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and the Nevada Municipal Clerks Association, serving on various committees for development and training.  Ms. Turney volunteers annually at the Northern Nevada Pride Festival, and has raised funds for various non-profits including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, SPCA, and A New Song International.
