Brian Jensen is a local hairstylist/salon owner that has been in the industry for over 10 years and has been recognized as Best Hairstylist 7 times. Before opening Jensen & Co. in 2016, he was the lead stylist for A Salon 7. Since opening Jensen & Co., it has been recognized as best salon twice. Brian is a Master Artist with the international product company Sexy Hair, traveling throughout the US and Canada, Brian performs on stages in front of thousands teaching the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling. He has also been a lead stylist at New York Fashion Week for designers such as Betsey Johnson, The Blonds, and Charlotte Ronson.
The salon also holds fundraisers and cut-a-thons throughout the year, raising funds for everything from local families in need, to countrywide events like the Look Good Feel Better Cut-a-thon that raises funds for people going through cancer treatments. Brian has also served as volunteer for OUR Center, Reno’s LGBT community center, as well as served as Festival Director for Northern Nevada Pride. Throughout his time, the festival has grown from 2500 to over 12,000 attendees in 5 years, resulting in over $100,000 raised for the community center.
