Lindsey Harmon served as Executive Director of Connect Nevada where she lead Connect Nevada’s involvement in state broadband and technology leadership initiatives with public and private sector stakeholders, including the Nevada Broadband Task Force. She also managed Connect Nevada programs including local broadband planning, broadband inventory mapping, research, and community solutions support. Lindsey served as the primary spokesperson to local, regional, and statewide media regarding Connect Nevada programs. She has worked tirelessly for the last 7 years, under guidance from the Governor’s Office to improve broadband infrastructure across the State. Next time you make a phone call in Baker, NV you should think of her. Lindsey previously worked at Inyo Networks building and selling fiber optic networks. She also worked as an Alumni Relations Manager at the University of Nevada, Reno. Lindsey holds a bachelor of arts in journalism, public relations, and advertising, as well as a master of arts degree in secondary education from the University of Nevada, Reno.
