Samantha Ladich is a Senior Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office in Carson City, Nevada, and has been with the office since 2005. She is responsible for providing legal advice to the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, the Nevada Threat Analysis Center, the Governor’s Homeland Security Advisor, and the Homeland Security Commission. In addition to her role in state government, Samantha serves as the Chairman of the National Emergency Management Association’s Legal Committee and is currently enrolled at the Naval Postgraduate School, Center for Homeland Defense and Security, where she is working towards a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security. In her free time, Samantha volunteers with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). After serving on the Board of Directors and as the Outreach Chair for the Northern Nevada Chapter of the JDRF, Samantha continues to work as an Online Diabetes Support Team member where she mentors Type 1 diabetics. Samantha also enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their two daughters, Whitney (8) and Kendall (7).
