Annie Flanzraich is an award-winning writer, editor, and content strategist with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Her leadership journey began at 20 years old when she served two terms as editor of the University of Nevada, Reno’s student newspaper.

At 22, she became news editor of the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza. Two years later, she became managing editor of the Tahoe Daily Tribune. During this time, she received the Nevada Press Association’s Outstanding Journalist and Journalist of Merit awards in the same year—a first for the organization.

At 26, she became the editor of RENO Magazine, and two years later she emerged as the Creative Development Manager of RGJ Media.

In 2016 at 30 years old, she founded Flanz Writes, a Reno-based business that offers writing, editing, and other content services to clients throughout the United States.

She is a Rotarian, a member of the NCET board and the Temple Sinai Library Committee, and a founding member of the Nevada Sagebrush Alumni Chapter.

She’s married to Mike Higdon and has a mini schnauzer, Max. She is currently writing her first novel.
