breannewebWhat do you love about your business?
Knowing that our customers are our number one priority. Coming to work every day knowing that we aren’t in it for the money, but to help our customers get the most out of their insurance and to do so within their means is a great feeling!

What do you get out of being a member of YPN?
Meeting and interacting with driven, professional individuals my age who have professional stories and advice to share.

What is your favorite special event in the region?
Rib Cook-Off!

If I weren’t at work right now, I’d be….
In Genoa fishing with my pup.

My favorite time of day is…
8:45 am
because…
The coffee is ready.

If you could take anyone in town out for a cup of coffee, who would it be and why?
Jenn Landes, American Family District Manager, to get in on her secrets to success.

To me, networking is about….
Meeting and interacting with new people,  developing contacts to further my career.

If you could fix one problem in our community, what would it be and how would you fix it?
The overpopulation of stray animals. My attempt to fix this would start with fundraising for more, or bigger, low-cost spay/neuter clinics. The existing low-cost clinics in the area are overwhelmed with wait times up to 6 months, and a lot of pet owners cannot afford the cost of taking their pet to their regular vet.

If you were a wild animal, which one would you be and why?
An eagle (not “wild” precisely), but it would be neat to see things from a different perspective.

If you were a box of cereal, what would you be and why?
Cocoa Pebbles, because I am a strong advocate of chocolate for breakfast!

If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why?
I would love to say Kate Winslet for her timeless class and grace, but more realistically it would be the girl from Juno for her awkwardness and ineptitude.

What was the last gift you gave someone?
Billy Idol tickets to my dad for Father’s Day.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
A few days ago I came home to a note on my door from Washoe County Animal Services, saying “we received a call that there was a boxer on your roof.” Apparently my dog had gotten through my window screen and was hanging out on my roof. Terrifying at the time, a little humorous now.

A penguin walks through the door right now wearing a sombrero.  What does he say and why is he here?
In a perfect world, he would say “pack your bags, we’re going to Cabo.”
