What do you love about your business?
I get to meet new people and try new things. From climbing electric poles with NV Energy to reporting live from a hot air balloon, every day is a new experience.
What do you get out of being a member of YPN?
Every person I meet has some story to tell. I love getting to know the people who will help make Reno a better place.
What is your favorite special event in the region?
The Rodeo! There is nothing better than whiskey, bulls and dancing!
If I weren’t at work right now, I’d be….
In Disneyland! It’s the Happiest Place on Earth! But seriously, I’d probably be napping.

If you could take anyone in town out for a cup of coffee, who would it be and why?
I’d drive out to Lovelock and meet with O.J. because who wouldn’t want to pick that man’s brains!
To me, networking is about….
Meeting new people and opening new doors. You never know when someone can help you with a story!
If you could fix one problem in our community, what would it be and how would you fix it?
The negativity many people have. Being in the news also puts me in contact with people who only complain about the problems but never try to solve them.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
Tickets to Johnny Mathis. It was my mom’s Mother’s Day present.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
I fell down my condo’s steps while it was raining. Explaining the giant bruise on my arm gets more and more embarrassing.
